Description For Technical Support Engineering IC3

Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization, with over 17,000 employees worldwide, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer IC3 to join their Customer Service & Support (CSS) team. This role involves owning, troubleshooting, and solving complex customer technical issues, providing an opportunity to accelerate career growth by honing problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills while developing technical proficiency.

The position offers flexibility with up to 100% work from home. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing and resolving complex customer issues through problem-solving, collaboration, and research.
  2. Performing in-depth product troubleshooting and remediation.
  3. Collaborating on cross-team and cross-product technical issues.
  4. Assisting in implementing end-to-end readiness programs and mentoring new Technical Support Engineers.
  5. Providing feedback for product and process improvements.
  6. Participating in case triage meetings to share knowledge and contribute to rapid customer solutions.

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of technical support, consulting, or IT experience OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of relevant experience
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check

  • Pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
