Software Engineer - Remote

A Software Engineer at Mindex is responsible for fulfilling the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing software applications, features, and functionality aligned to customer requirements. The Software Engineer works alongside other engineers on the team, in an agile environment to devise innovative solutions, elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in determining customer requirements using problem analysis and critical thinking skills
• Defines and develops clear problem statements that represent customers' needs and requirements
• Designs and develops technical software solutions including software architecture
• Contributes to examining systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Writes and performs testing that aligns with a methodology
• Documents each aspect of an application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
• Identifies bugs and assists senior team members in the development process
• Shows curiosity to learn and advance relevant technical knowledge

The ideal candidate should have:

• AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and all aspects of the SDLC
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Strong skills in C#, ASP.NET, Azure DevOps, JavaScript, and SQL databases
• Excellent analysis, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong focus on customer service and collaboration
• AWS Certification (Foundational/Associate) or applicable industry certifications preferred

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $120,000, depending on skills, experience, and other factors.
