You'll be responsible for building and scaling core product infrastructure, designing APIs and services, maintaining system performance and reliability, and working directly with customers. Responsibilities For Senior Backend Engineer
- Backend software engineering to build and scale core product infrastructure
- Designing and building APIs and services to support product features
- Maintaining and improving performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems
- Collaborating with product and design to build customer-facing functionality
- Operating, owning, and running code for backend systems in production
- Scaling, operating, and extending our infrastructure
- Building the core product, from APIs to agentic pipelines
- Working directly with customers to solve their problems
Requirements For Senior Backend Engineer
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Deep customer empathy, including the desire to speak with customers and make product decisions
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and be productive in unfamiliar domains
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to act independently and lead major features
- Bonus: Previously founded a startup, especially a dev-tools startup
