AI Engineer

We are seeking a motivated AI Engineer to join an ambitious early-stage team building the next generation of conversational AI agents. The platform is an AI-native help desk that enables human agents to work alongside AI, increasing automation over time. The AI agents handle both reactive and proactive automation across various channels like calls, SMS, and email, while maintaining a single, coherent conversation thread.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the AI engine at the heart of the platform. You'll be responsible for researching and prototyping advanced agentic AI, developing robust production services, and ensuring the AI infrastructure can scale effectively. The role involves building comprehensive monitoring systems, developing test frameworks, and collaborating with backend engineers to integrate AI modules into the broader platform.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and shipping AI systems at scale, with LLM-based techniques being a plus. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment and have a track record of taking ownership and seeing projects through to completion.
