Responsibilities For Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

  • Manage and support AWS and Azure infrastructure
  • Operate and integrate on-premises systems with cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot OS-level and networking issues
  • Execute patching and maintenance across platforms
  • Use Infrastructure as Code tools to provision infrastructure
  • Create automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
  • Configure and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Work with security and compliance teams
  • Collaborate with global team members
  • Document procedures and configurations

Requirements For Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

  • 3-6 years in cloud infrastructure or cloud operations roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) and Azure services
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure-native tools
  • Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Windows systems and cloud networking
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • AWS and/or Azure certifications preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD tools preferred
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (GxP, HIPAA, ISO) preferred
