Gen AI Search Engineer

The position sits within Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS), which delivers shared technology services supporting all business applications and end users across Morgan Stanley. As a Gen AI Search Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing intelligent search solutions that leverage OpenAI models (GPT-3, GPT-4, embeddings) to enhance query understanding, semantic search, and content generation.

The role combines deep technical expertise in search engineering with modern AI technologies. You'll work with Lucidworks Fusion, potentially transitioning to Elasticsearch, and develop robust backend infrastructure for an Embeddings Lake. The position requires strong programming skills in Python, experience with NLP, and familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $120,000-$165,000, plus additional benefits and potential for bonuses and other incentives.
