Job Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President - Senior AI Platform Engineer to join their Technology division, focusing on building and scaling their firmwide AI Development Platform. This role sits at the intersection of AI and enterprise software engineering, working with cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud-native architectures.

The position offers an opportunity to work with Morgan Stanley's advanced AI applications, including Genome, and help drive the adoption of AI capabilities throughout the enterprise. The role requires expertise in building software platforms on Kubernetes, API development, and large-scale systems, combined with AI/ML knowledge.

As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing tooling and self-service capabilities for AI solutions, building scalable and reusable components, and establishing best practices for the Generative AI ecosystem. You'll work with various stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications while ensuring the platform remains reliable, secure, and operational.

The role offers competitive compensation ($150,000-$210,000 base salary) plus additional benefits and incentives. Responsibilities For Vice President - Senior AI Platform Engineer (Python)

  • Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for deploying AI solutions
  • Build common, reusable solutions to scale Generative AI use cases
  • Design scalable, robust, secure, and flexible architecture for AI development platform
  • Leverage Kubernetes/OpenShift to develop modern containerized workloads

  • Strong hands-on Application Development background in Python, Flask or FAST Api
