Job Description

MUFG, a global financial powerhouse with 350 years of history, is seeking a Vice President - Quant Developer to join their EMEA Markets Engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and finance, developing critical trading and risk systems used across the organization.

Responsibilities For Vice President - Quant Developer

  • Collaborate with quant modelling team and front-office traders to understand business needs and deliver solutions
  • Design, develop, and integrate new pricing tools and systems to support trading activities
  • Identify and resolve production issues including pricing, performance, and system reliability
  • Improve robustness, efficiency, and maintainability of the codebase
  • Participate in overnight support rota for critical systems

Requirements For Vice President - Quant Developer

  • 7+ years of experience developing front-office applications using C#
  • Strong understanding of pricing theory and financial engineering
  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
