Backend Developer

Multiplica Talent is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join their team in a hybrid work environment based in Lima, Peru. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and technological systems, ensuring functionality from the user interface to server components and databases.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of backend development experience and strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and database management. You'll be responsible for implementing RESTful APIs, managing both relational and non-relational databases, and ensuring system scalability and performance.

As a Backend Developer, you'll work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product owners, and fellow developers. The role offers opportunities to work on challenging projects, implement innovative solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems.

The position comes with a flexible hybrid work arrangement, working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. While initially a 6-month project contract, there are opportunities for renewal based on performance and project extensions.
