NAVBLUE, an Airbus company, is seeking a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join their team in Gdansk. This role combines aircraft manufacturer expertise with flight operations know-how to enhance operational efficiency in the aviation industry. As a senior developer, you'll work on SaaS applications in a microservices-based environment, contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The position requires expertise in .NET development, with a focus on AWS cloud services and a strong background in testing and DevOps practices. You'll lead technical designs, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the technical direction of the team. Responsibilities For Senior .NET Backend Developer
- Develop new and maintain existing .NET (C#) code in an AWS cloud environment
- Focus on quality by promoting coding best practices, test-first mindset and security standards
- Contribute to building new and improving existing development processes
- Work within small agile teams delivering new features and fixing defects
- Lead technical designs and collaborate with stakeholders
- Define and drive team's technical direction and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and translate designs into high-quality code
Requirements For Senior .NET Backend Developer
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development
- Experience with .NET/.NET Framework, C#, and AWS
- Experience writing unit tests, component testing, integration testing
- Hands-on experience with Python in testing area
- Experience with ASP.NET Web API
- Experience with Entity Framework
- DevOps practices knowledge including CI/CD pipelines
- Experience leading software development teams
- Master of Science Degree in software engineering or related field
- Proficiency in English spoken and written
