Description For Technical Solutions Engineer

Ndustrial is seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring clients have a seamless experience with the company's energy intensity solution, including SaaS in the cloud and IoT hardware in the field. The Technical Solutions Engineer will be the go-to expert for complex technical issues, working cross-functionally with product development and services teams to troubleshoot problems, provide solutions, and enhance product features.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 support requests and handling some Tier 2 support requests
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to networking, cloud software, and IoT devices
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, and customer success teams
  • Providing technical training to customers
  • Managing support requests through a ticketing system
  • Contributing to product testing and quality assurance efforts

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science, Information Technology/Systems, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, IoT technologies, and cloud-native environments
  • Experience with database querying languages and API requests
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to rapidly evolving technology

  • Triage Tier 1 support requests and handle some Tier 2 support requests
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networking, cloud software, and IoT devices
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles

  • Provide technical training to customers
  • Track and manage support requests through ticketing system
  • Contribute to product testing, quality assurance, and data quality efforts

Requirements For Technical Solutions Engineer

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science, Information Technology/Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, IoT technologies and cloud-native environments
  • Experience with database querying languages (SQL, etc) and API requests (REST, GraphQL, etc)
  • Experience with troubleshooting networks and networking concepts
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to rapidly evolving technology
