Senior Test Engineer

NearForm is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to help enterprise clients translate requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications. The role involves developing and executing automated test suites and conducting manual testing when necessary to ensure product quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test suites
• Conduct manual testing when required
• Ensure testing is considered at all levels of development
• Participate in backlog refinement to ensure clear understanding of testing throughout the development process
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver quality agile products
• Build and improve automated test frameworks
• Integrate automated tests/test processes into CI pipelines
• Influence change in the test process within an agile team

Required Skills and Experience:

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Experience with third-party test runners (e.g., BrowserStack, SauceLabs)
• Proficiency in automated front-end testing frameworks (Cypress or Playwright)
• Backend and API testing experience
• Non-Functional Requirement (NFR) testing and tools (e.g., Lighthouse)
• Experience in Web / Back-end environments
• Understanding of Mobile application testing
• Experience with highly scalable, maintainable code
• Agile working environment experience
• Ability to translate product requirements into testable technical solutions
