The role focuses on building an inference & fine-tuning platform for foundation models within Nebius Cloud, one of the world's largest GPU clouds. The position requires expertise in distributed LLMs training and inference, working with cutting-edge models like GPT-OSS, Kimi K2, and DeepSeek. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in machine learning, neural networks, and modern deep learning frameworks, particularly JAX. With a team of over 800 employees including 400+ skilled engineers, Nebius offers a dynamic environment at the forefront of AI cloud computing. - Enhancing fine-tuning methodologies for cutting-edge LLMs
- Researching and implementing advanced inference optimization techniques

Requirements For Senior ML Engineer
- Profound understanding of theoretical foundations of machine learning and reinforcement learning
- Deep expertise in modern deep learning for language processing and generation
- Substantial experience with training large models on multiple computational nodes
- Understanding of performance aspects of large neural network training
- Strong software engineering skills in Python
- Deep experience with modern deep learning frameworks (JAX)
- Proficiency in CI/CD, version control and unit testing
