Software Engineer (L4) - Consumer Engineering

Netflix is seeking a Software Engineer (L4) for Consumer Engineering to work on core backend systems impacting API platform, messaging, personalization, sign-up, partnership, payments, and billing systems. The role involves applying software development skills to solve complex problems with real-world impact, contributing to scalable, highly-available, complex distributed systems powering the world's most sophisticated entertainment service.

Key requirements:

• Skilled in object-oriented programming with a focus on efficient, maintainable, and testable code
• Solid foundation in computer science and software development concepts
• Ability to work independently and drive features throughout the development lifecycle
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based services
• Self-driven, able to prioritize effectively and focus on impact
