Job Description

Netflix, a global entertainment leader with 300M+ subscribers, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Ads Reporting team. This role is part of the Ads Platform Engineering group, which manages the entire "Pitch to Pay" advertising ecosystem. The position focuses on building and operating foundational systems for processing ads-related events at scale.

The role involves working with the Ads Reporting Infrastructure team to develop systems that collect, enrich, and deliver ads-related events. You'll be responsible for transforming raw signals from various sources into reliable, privacy-safe data streams that power critical business functions including measurement, serving, reporting, and financial workflows.

As a newer entrant in the Connected TV advertising space, Netflix offers a unique opportunity to build innovative advertising systems from the ground up. The team aims to create distinctive value propositions that will help Netflix become a market leader in record time.

The position requires extensive experience in building large-scale, low-latency distributed systems and real-time data processing. Key technical skills include working with Apache Druid, Flink, and modern programming languages. Deep knowledge of ad tech, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends is essential.

Netflix offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $720,000, with the flexibility to choose the ratio of salary to stock options. The company provides comprehensive benefits including health plans, mental health support, 401(k) with employer match, and generous time off policies.

This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while helping Netflix revolutionize the advertising space. The role combines technical challenges with business impact, making it ideal for engineers who want to shape the future of streaming advertising.
