This role combines cloud infrastructure expertise with network engineering, requiring deep knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private cloud environments. The position involves evaluating cutting-edge technologies, implementing best practices, and working on complex cloud networking solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in internetworking environments and expert-level knowledge of cloud technologies. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing cloud network architectures, including VPC/VNET design, cloud load balancers, and security implementations. The role requires strong technical leadership abilities, as you'll serve as an escalation point and technical lead on various projects.

Responsibilities For Specialist Cloud Network Engineer
- Research and evaluate Cloud technologies for current and future needs
- Establish repeatable design strategies and automation
- Update CloudFormation using JSON/YAML
- Review designs of fellow architects and engineers
- Serve as escalation point for deep analysis and problem solving
- Function as technical lead on projects when necessary
- Communicate technical information across various audiences
- Collaborate on architectural solutions
- Evaluate and select solutions/products
- Act as internal consultant across business units
Requirements For Specialist Cloud Network Engineer
- 8+ years work experience in internetworking environment
- Experience with Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with Infrastructure as code
- Scripting experience with JSON/YAML for CloudFormation
- Expert Level experience with Palo Alto and F5 load balancers
- Expert Level experience with network switching and routing
- Extensive knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
- Expert-level understanding of internetworking technologies
- OSPF and BGP design implementation experience
- Experience with MPLS environments
- Working knowledge of IPV6
- Working knowledge of SIP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
