Responsibilities For Python Backend Engineer (Remote - Europe)
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications in Python
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support frontend requirements and third-party integrations
- Work with legacy Python/Django codebases, improving and refactoring for maintainability and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and product enhancements
- Implement automated testing, conduct code reviews, and maintain high code quality standards
- Ensure performance optimization, troubleshooting, and security best practices
- Document code, processes, and technical procedures
- Stay up to date with emerging Python technologies and SaaS industry trends
Requirements For Python Backend Engineer (Remote - Europe)
- Strong proficiency in Python, with solid experience using Django or similar frameworks
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining SaaS applications
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, API design, and system integration
- Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud services (AWS preferred)
