Job Description

Join Northrop Grumman's Payload and Ground Systems organization as a Backend Software Engineer on the classified Swordfish portfolio. This role is part of the Aurora Software and Controls Department, which houses over 200 technical professionals. You'll work on the Integrated Operational Command and Control-to-Tactical Command and Control End-to-End Training Program (IOTTP), starting September 2025.

The position requires expertise in Java, Docker, and Kubernetes, working in an agile, fast-paced environment supporting critical national security missions. As a Principal or Senior Principal engineer, you'll be expected to provide technical leadership, mentor others, and contribute to advancing the program's objectives.
