Job Description

Numeric is revolutionizing the accounting software space by building a modern financial data platform that combines AI, workflows, and data solutions. As a Growth Engineer focusing on content, you'll be instrumental in building the infrastructure and systems backbone of their content engine. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and marketing, requiring both technical expertise and content strategy understanding.

The company has achieved strong product-market fit, serving notable customers like Anthropic, Plaid, Brex, and Betterment. Backed by prestigious investors including Menlo Ventures, IVP, Founders Fund, and 8VC, Numeric is well-positioned for growth. The role offers an opportunity to work in their offices in San Francisco or New York, with some flexibility in schedule management.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the operational backbone of their content engine, automating repetitive tasks, and creating tools for the entire content lifecycle. The ideal candidate should be systems-minded, experienced with workflow automation tools, and possess both technical acumen and strong writing abilities. You'll work closely with content, sales, and marketing teams to identify bottlenecks and build efficient solutions.

The company culture emphasizes core principles including daily execution ("Brick by Brick"), passion for the work ("Love the Game"), innovation ("SALY - Same As Last Year" is not accepted), ownership of outcomes, and continuous improvement. While they take business building seriously, they maintain a light-hearted atmosphere where team members can enjoy their work while making significant impacts.

This role offers competitive compensation ($115K – $170K plus equity) and the opportunity to work with a team that's tackling real, hard, and increasingly urgent problems in the accounting software space. It's an ideal position for someone who wants to combine technical skills with content strategy to drive growth at a promising fintech startup.
