Description For Facilities Systems Engineer - Data Center

NVIDIA, a leader in computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years, is seeking a creative and experienced Facility Systems Engineer to join their Operations Engineering team. This role will focus on expanding data center manufacturing footprint to worldwide facilities at contract manufacturing partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing facility infrastructure solutions for data centers manufacturing
  • Leading installation of data center cooling systems (air & liquid)
  • Quickly resolving infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime
  • Developing standardized cost structures for mechanical and electrical systems implementation
  • Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations
  • Coordinating with suppliers on design criteria, budgetary issues, and facility maintenance
  • Developing standard methodologies for facilities and services projects
  • Driving process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing manufacturing sites and cooling solutions in data centers
  • Expertise in construction management, facilities project management, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards for data centers
  • Proficiency in simulation and modeling software for thermal analysis
  • Experience with Building Management Systems controls
