The role involves designing and implementing Kubernetes-based GPU accelerated data processing services at scale, focusing on high availability and reliability. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong mathematical background. Responsibilities For Senior Data Processing Platform Engineer

  • Design, implement and operate Kubernetes based GPU accelerated data processing service at scale
  • Optimize distributed computing infrastructure for latency and performance
  • Identify KPIs and instrument metrics tracking for dashboards and alerting
  • Enhance and maintain robust scale, reliable, real-time data processing service
  • Train data engineers, data scientists and production engineers
  • Participate in on-call rotation and process improvement

Requirements For Senior Data Processing Platform Engineer

Kubernetes
Python
  • Experience architecting, developing and deploying large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong Kubernetes experience on-premise and/or CSP, developing containerized microservices
  • Hands on experience in performance tuning/troubleshooting Spark applications
  • Experience with distributed systems, databases, and big data systems like Ray, Spark Rapids
  • Familiarity with metrics collection, health monitoring, and observability tools
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or CE
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with software engineering and math background
