Job Description

NVIDIA, the pioneer in AI and accelerated computing, is seeking a Senior DFT Infrastructure Engineer to join their DFX group. This role combines software engineering with hardware validation, focusing on developing crucial infrastructure tools for GPU testing and validation.

The position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of software and hardware, developing and maintaining test infrastructure tools that are essential for NVIDIA's GPU development process. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining tools for ATE test vector release and fail analysis/diagnosis flows, working closely with various teams including DFT, ATE bringup, and Silicon FA teams.

The role requires a strong background in computer science with specific expertise in test automation and hardware validation. You'll need excellent programming skills in Perl and Python, with C++ being a plus. Knowledge of ATE systems, particularly Advantest 93k and Teradyne Ultraflex, is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities For Senior DFT Infrastructure Engineer - GPU

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy internal infrastructure tools for ATE test vector release and fail analysis/diagnosis flows
  • Work with DFT, ATE bringup, Silicon FA teams
  • Create regression testcases to ensure flow robustness
  • Support silicon bringup teams to ensure Bringup success
  • Develop code to integrate new features into current tools
  • Resolve tool bugs, check in and deploy fixes

Requirements For Senior DFT Infrastructure Engineer - GPU

Python
Linux
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • In depth ATE knowledge, Advantest 93k knowledge strongly desired, Teradyne Ultraflex preferred
  • Excellent Perl, Python scripting skills, C++ knowledge is nice to have
  • Track record showing consistently producing original scripts, code
  • Familiarity with SSN scan architecture, diagnostics flow
  • Ability to debug existing internal code base
  • Ability to independently work on your own
  • Collaborative with team members and other teams
