Job Description

NVIDIA, a global leader in accelerated computing and AI technology, is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to join their mixed-signal high-speed I/O group. This role is at the forefront of developing innovative PHY designs that power the world's most advanced AI systems.

The position involves working on cutting-edge technology, including the industry's first 200G MRM-based silicon photonics chip, which is revolutionizing high-performance networking and enabling Co-Packaged Optics (CPO). You'll be responsible for frontend development of high-speed DSPs and silicon photonics IPs/chips, working closely with analog designers and system architects to develop micro-architecture specifications and adaptation algorithms.

The role combines hardware design expertise with software development, requiring proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog and understanding of complex digital design concepts. You'll be involved in the entire development cycle, from initial design through silicon bring-up and production, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.

NVIDIA offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $136,000 - $264,500 USD (depending on level), plus equity and comprehensive benefits. The company's culture emphasizes innovation, continuous learning, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in computing technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced digital design engineers who want to work on groundbreaking technology that continually pushes the limits of wireline communication. You'll be part of a team that delivers solutions for NVIDIA's high-performance interconnect protocols, including NVLINK, Ethernet, and InfiniBand, directly contributing to the advancement of AI and high-performance computing systems.
