Job Description

NXP Semiconductors, a global leader in secure connectivity solutions for embedded applications, is seeking a Student Embedded Software Developer to join their teams in Roznov and Brno. This role focuses on developing embedded software for automotive functional safety applications, a critical component in modern vehicles. The position offers hands-on experience with next-generation vehicles, smart homes, and industrial facilities.

The role is part of the Functional Safety SW team, which develops crucial software solutions like Core Self-Test Library and Safety Software Framework. This team's work is increasingly important with the growing trend of autonomous vehicles. You'll work in a high-performance, enthusiastic software development team in a friendly and dynamic environment.

As a Student Embedded Software Developer, you'll be involved in designing and implementing embedded software for various microcontroller architectures, working specifically with automotive functional safety applications. You'll have the opportunity to interact with different NXP Automotive teams, including solution teams, hardware designers, and customer engineers.

The ideal candidate should have strong embedded C programming skills, experience in embedded software development, and a genuine interest in functional safety for modern automobiles.
