Smart Meter Engineer

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Smart Meter Engineer to join their mission of driving the global renewable energy revolution. This role is part of the Octopus Energy Services team and requires a candidate with a proven track record of safety and customer excellence.

As a Smart Meter Engineer, you'll be the face of Octopus Energy, often providing the first face-to-face contact with customers. Your responsibilities include fitting meters, demonstrating how meters and in-home displays work, explaining energy-saving benefits, and answering questions about the green energy revolution.

The ideal candidate should have MOCoPA certification (at least 1ph WC), Gas Safe certification (CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1), excellent people skills, experience in domestic dual-fuel metering, and a full UK driving license. You'll need to be comfortable using handheld terminals and have a flexible working approach.
