Job Description

Open Energy Transition (OET) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their mission-driven non-profit organization of around 50 professionals worldwide. The role focuses on managing cloud infrastructure for OET's Cloud Solver, an internal tool for deploying complex energy models. The position requires expertise in cloud services, CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will work with Python-based data processing pipelines and implement security measures for sensitive client data. The organization offers a remote-first environment with a culture built on trust, autonomy, and collaborative professionalism. The role involves working closely with the Head of Software Engineering and other engineers to improve system efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Python environment management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Effective asynchronous communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
