Job Description

OpenAI is seeking a Simulation Environments Engineer to lead their simulation environments initiative within the Robotics team. This senior-level position focuses on scaling virtual environments in coverage, realism, and throughput, utilizing modern game development practices and industry-leading platforms like NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Unity, or Unreal Engine.

The role involves building simulated environments and infrastructure from scratch, with significant autonomy in platform selection and team building. Located in San Francisco with a hybrid work model (3 days in office), the position offers a competitive salary range of $325K-$405K plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
