Solutions Engineer, Strategics

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer for their Strategics segment to join the Technical Success team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective deployment of ChatGPT and OpenAI API applications for developers and enterprises. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll partner with the largest companies to transform their businesses through AI solutions such as customer service, automated content generation, and novel applications using OpenAI's newest models.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional pre-sales customer experiences
• Demonstrating the value of OpenAI APIs and ChatGPT for business needs
• Building and presenting demos, scoping use cases, and providing technical advisory
• Creating documentation and guides for common questions and requirements
• Developing strong customer relationships during the evaluation and purchasing process
• Representing the voice of the customer to internal teams
• Handling security and compliance questions

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales roles
• Strong understanding of IT security principles
• Experience with programming languages like Python or JavaScript
• Knowledge of Generative AI/ML solutions and cloud architecture
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• A humble attitude and eagerness to help colleagues

This hybrid role is based in San Francisco, CA, with 3 days in the office per week.
