OpenAI is seeking a talented Systems Graphics Software Engineer to join their team in San Francisco. This role offers a competitive salary range of $325,000 - $405,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

The position focuses on designing, optimizing, and shipping high-performance rendering systems for cutting-edge, real-time applications. As a Systems Graphics Software Engineer, you'll have ownership of the complete graphics stack, from GPU pipelines to display composition, while working closely with camera, vision, and UX teams to deliver exceptional visual experiences on resource-constrained devices.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in graphics systems, particularly on Linux, Android, or iOS platforms, with strong proficiency in C/C++ and modern shading languages. You'll need extensive experience with graphics APIs like Vulkan, Metal, or OpenGL ES, and a proven track record of shipping real-time rendering features under tight constraints.

Key responsibilities include building graphics runtimes and libraries, implementing real-time rendering pipelines, managing display and composition paths, and establishing performance benchmarks.
