Oracle NetSuite is seeking a Principal Consultant - Technical to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering customizations for NetSuite customers in a post-sales environment. The ideal candidate will quickly assess customer needs, develop customization strategies, and implement these plans to customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include leading development and configuration of solutions for complex projects, providing migration strategies, resolving customer issues, recommending system enhancements, and collaborating across delivery channels. The role requires expertise in the SuiteCloud Platform, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while influencing customers and contributing to internal initiatives. Responsibilities For Principal Consultant - Technical
- Lead development and configuration of detailed solutions for highly complex projects
- Provide strategies for migrating from current systems to NetSuite
- Resolve complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions
- Recommend system enhancements for NetSuite
- Collaborate across all delivery channels including Global Delivery resources, NetSuite partners, and customer's in-house developers
- Demonstrate expertise on the SuiteCloud Platform by architecting solutions
- Serve as SME on certain project verticals
- Advise and influence customer leadership on process direction/decisions
- Identify on-the-job training opportunities for consultants
- Support communication and adoption of new and existing policies/procedures
- Collaborate with Sales leadership in business development efforts
- Document solutions and contribute to solutions repository
- Participate in SME program in areas of interest and expertise
- Contribute to internal PS knowledge share and participate in continuing education
Requirements For Principal Consultant - Technical
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, including 2 years consulting experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Experience with JavaScript, SuiteCloud Platform, SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x), SQL, HTML, JSON, and XML
- Experience in integrating third-party platforms with NetSuite using REST & SOAP technologies, custom APIs, and third-party integrators
- Experience in designing, building, and troubleshooting workflows
- Experience in designing and building custom PDF forms in NetSuite
- Proficiency with formulas on saved searches
- Ability to think outside the box and understand how custom solutions interact with business processes
