Autonomous Database Engineer (Cloud DBA & DevOps) - CZ/ES

The Autonomous Database Team at Oracle is seeking a skilled Cloud Database Engineer to join their team responsible for building the Cloud service framework powering various Oracle Autonomous Database cloud services, including ADW and ATP. This is a remote position based in either Czech Republic or Spain.

As an Autonomous Database Engineer, you'll be working on automating deployment, scaling, and management of databases in the cloud, built on Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role involves handling lifecycle management operations of databases and performing autonomous operations based on internal and external events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining cloud database services within the region
• Implementing automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring
• Assessing and communicating risks to leadership
• Taking ownership of core system platform solutions
• Ensuring proper incident documentation
• Staying current with cloud infrastructure technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong Linux expertise
• Experience with complex software troubleshooting
• Cloud computing architecture knowledge
• Expert-level Oracle Database technology experience
• Python, shell scripting, SQL, and Terraform skills
• DevOps experience
• Excellent communication abilities
