Job Description
Oracle FSGIU's Finergy division is seeking a talented Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role is within a specialized team dedicated to transforming the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry through innovative technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of IT experience, including 4+ years in Azure architecture, and will play a pivotal role in driving cloud transformation. This hands-on position requires deep technical expertise in Azure services, including App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, and more, along with strong leadership skills.
Key responsibilities include designing comprehensive Azure cloud architectures, leading migration projects, establishing governance frameworks, and maintaining security standards. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, and containerization.

Responsibilities For Azure Cloud Architect
- Design comprehensive Azure cloud architectures, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
- Lead cloud migration projects, transitioning on-premise or other cloud environments to Azure
- Establish architecture guidelines, governance frameworks, and best practices for Azure adoption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and scalability
- Maintain compliance with security and privacy standards
- Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, HLD/LLD, diagrams, and runbooks
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs through effective planning
- Stay updated with the latest Azure offerings and integrate new services
- Mentor and guide teams on Azure DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
Requirements For Azure Cloud Architect
- 8–12 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to Azure Cloud Architecture
- Hands-on expertise in Azure services: App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, VNets, ExpressRoute, NSG, and Azure Monitor
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security, including Azure AD, networking, and monitoring solutions
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
- Familiarity with containerization: Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Strong grasp of microservices, API management, and event-driven architecture patterns
- Azure certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
