Consulting Technical Director

Oracle is seeking a Consulting Technical Director with expertise in database development, specifically Exadata, ZFS, Oracle VLDB tuning, Oracle Database design, PL/SQL, Oracle Enterprise Manager, RAC Optimization, and DataGuard. The role requires 10+ years of experience in administering and engineering solutions with Oracle's database (10 – current). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in database design and modeling, as well as collecting and interpreting customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning. Significant experience with production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery is essential. Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and/or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration is required. The role also demands experience with ZFS Appliance configuration, patching, and maintenance. The candidate must be an independent worker with strong communication skills and the ability to work with large teams of developers, manage a small team of administrators, and interact with customer watch facilities. Understanding of customer mission requirements and strong analytical and performance evaluation skills are crucial. This position requires a security clearance and is not eligible for visa/work permit sponsorship.
