Principal Cloud Engineer, Technology, China

Oracle is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join their Technology team in China. This role partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The position focuses on driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.

As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will engage with strategic customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels to design and implement solutions. You'll work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions. The role involves implementing solutions through code development and scripting, and ensuring successful deployments.

You'll be responsible for creating and delivering highly customized presentation demonstrations to customers at conferences and events. Supporting customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment is a key aspect, including resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. You'll also create and distribute technical assets like white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.

This position requires 10+ years of experience and fluency in Mandarin Chinese. You'll serve as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions, identifying gaps and influencing engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features. The work is non-routine and complex, involving advanced technical/business skills and potential interaction with C-level executives.
