Principal Cloud Engineer, Technology, China

Oracle is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join their Technology team in China. This role partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The position focuses on driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.

As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will engage with strategic customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels to design and implement solutions. You'll work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translate business needs into solutions. The role may involve implementing solutions through code development and scripting, and ensuring successful deployments.

Key aspects include:

• Displaying product expertise through customized presentations and demonstrations
• Supporting customers from POC through production deployment
• Creating technical assets like white papers, solution code, and blog posts
• Serving as a leading technical contributor for cloud solutions
• Identifying gaps and influencing engineering roadmaps
• Maintaining expertise in emerging technologies

This is a senior technical position requiring 10+ years of experience, with opportunities to mentor others and interact with C-level executives. The role requires Chinese-Mandarin language skills and involves complex, non-routine work applying advanced technical and business skills.
