Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Principal Cloud Support Engineer (OCI) to join their OCI Multicloud Support organization in Nashville, TN. This role focuses on delivering post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. The position requires working onsite in Nashville 5 days per week and participating in an on-call rotation.

As a Principal Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for resolving both technical and non-technical customer inquiries through various channels. You'll need extensive experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure, particularly in Cloud Networking and public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI. The role requires a deep understanding of Oracle products and the ability to work independently while researching and developing solutions to complex customer issues.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud-related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a global team. Responsibilities For Principal Cloud Support Engineer (OCI)

  • Act as technical interface to customers, OEMs and VARs for problem resolution
  • Research and develop solutions to customer issues independently
  • Provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customer base
  • Resolve technical questions regarding use and troubleshooting of Electronic Support Services
  • Facilitate customer relationships with Support
  • Provide advice and assistance on escalated issues
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements For Principal Cloud Support Engineer (OCI)

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure or cloud-related field
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing
  • Experience with public-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI)
  • Prior technical support experience
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work with a global, remote workforce
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database and Exadata (preferred)
