Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Principal Cloud Support Engineer to join their OCI Multicloud Support team. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring 8+ years of infrastructure or cloud experience. As a principal engineer, you'll serve as the technical interface between Oracle and its customers, OEMs, and VARs, focusing on complex problem resolution and service maintenance.

The position demands hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and strong networking knowledge. You'll work independently to research and develop solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities For Principal Cloud Support Engineer - OCI Multicloud Support

  • Act as technical interface to customers, OEMs and VARs for problem resolution
  • Provide installation support and maintenance recommendations for Oracle products
  • Research and develop solutions to customer issues independently
  • Deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customer base
  • Serve as an advocate for customer needs
  • Troubleshoot technical problems to root cause to restore service

Requirements For Principal Cloud Support Engineer - OCI Multicloud Support

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure or cloud-related field
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking and in-depth knowledge of cloud computing
  • Hands-on experience with public-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI)
  • Prior experience in technical support role
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Must work from office 5 days/week and be part of weekend rotation
