Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a hands-on, Technical Program Manager to join their Operability team. This role focuses on driving programs for automation, efficiency, and improvements for operational staff and customers. The Principal Technical Program Manager will work across multi-functional teams to lead planning and designing of technical solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. Key responsibilities include creating project scopes, managing schedules, organizing meetings, preparing reports, managing risks, and collaborating with partners in program and product management, operations, and engineering. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in Technical Product Management in IaaS or SaaS, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in an innovative environment. Responsibilities For Principal Program Manager
- Lead planning and designing of technical solutions
- Create and define project scopes
- Plan and direct schedules focusing on automation and efficiency
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings
- Prepare and distribute progress reports
- Manage risks and issues
- Monitor programs from initiation through delivery
- Collaborate with partners in program and product management, operations, and engineering
- Develop dashboards for key service metrics
- Drive compliance initiatives such as security patching and OS upgrades
- Track learning events and drive corrections
- Provide ongoing status updates to senior leadership
Requirements For Principal Program Manager
- 8+ years experience with Technical Product Management in IaaS and/or SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and drive process improvements
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to think broadly and strategically
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Highly analytical and technically proficient
- Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling
