Principal SW Developer (OCI MULTICLOUD)

At Oracle Multicloud organization, we maximize the value of customer's Oracle investment and other cloud infrastructure to provide highly distributed, scalable multi-cloud solutions. We're seeking hands-on engineers passionate about solving complex problems in cloud service software engineering, including distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, identity, security, and observability.

As a Principal Software Developer, you'll be instrumental in building and operating high-scale public cloud services, with deep understanding of control plane architecture. You'll work independently on major projects, extending technical expertise to development teams. The role involves driving design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and mentoring junior team members.

You'll balance high-level system design and architectural documentation with hands-on prototyping and code reviews. The position requires strong technical skills, ability to balance speed and quality, and understanding of operational excellence. You'll be part of Oracle's growing Multicloud organization, working on ambitious initiatives where engineers can have significant technical and business impact.
