Description For Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev

We seek a highly skilled and strategic Principal NetSuite ERP Product Manager to drive the development and execution of our product strategy for the software industry. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to position NetSuite for software and hi-tech companies by building a comprehensive product strategy roadmap that aligns with industry needs and business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced product manager who thrives on learning about new technologies and working on fun and challenging projects. You'll work to understand customer needs, gather requirements, and then manage the overall process of taking features from design to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product strategy to position NetSuite as the ERP leader within the software industry.
  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for NetSuite's software industry vertical.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for ERP solutions in the software sector.
  • Partner closely with other product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Engage directly with key customers and industry thought leaders to gather insights.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to create compelling go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify and act on new opportunities to extend NetSuite's ERP functionality.
  • Develop detailed requirements and stories for the development team.

The ideal candidate is customer and solutions-focused, with strong Software and Hitech Industry experience, a fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements For Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev

  • BS / BA / MS / MBA degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 10+ years of product management or similar experience focusing on Accounting and ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, within the software and hi-tech industry
  • In-depth knowledge of NetSuite ERP functions such as finance, billing, revenue recognition, subscription models, and SaaS operations
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and across multiple time zones and countries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Good Confluence, Figma and Jira experience (preferred)
  • Agile software development or scrum team experience is preferred
