Job Description

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver corporate-level global leadership for highly strategic growth opportunities. The position involves strategy formulation, new business models, inbound licensing arrangements, M&A due diligence/integration, and ecosystem development. You will play a leading role in driving successful product partner ecosystem development and licensing of intellectual property for Oracle products and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  2. Executing transactions
  3. Managing deals and partnership governance

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of business experience in technology, with relevant experience in structuring, influencing/negotiating, and leading sophisticated partnerships and/or acquisitions. Experience in inbound licensing of IP is crucial.

Responsibilities For Product Partnerships & Licensing Sr Manager / Director

  • Develop partnership and ecosystem strategies
  • Lead inbound negotiations and work with internal teams to deliver timely results
  • Evaluate potential inbound licensing opportunities and advise on deal structure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure business initiatives and develop recommendations
  • Develop and lead negotiation strategies with partners
  • Create business cases for inbound partnerships and structure partnerships to achieve business objectives
  • Lead diligence on M&A initiatives requiring due diligence of IP and third-party commercial inclusion
  • Monitor deal performance and maintain ongoing relationships with partners
  • Identify approaches to grow the impact of partnerships and raise insights with partner and Oracle leadership

Requirements For Product Partnerships & Licensing Sr Manager / Director

  • 7+ years of business experience in technology
  • Experience in structuring, influencing/negotiating, and leading sophisticated partnerships and/or acquisitions
  • Experience in inbound licensing of IP
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong analytical and business modeling skills
  • Experience in implementing agreements with engineering to assess the inclusion of third-party IP
  • Passion for product, technology, and creating great end-to-end customer experiences
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary virtual teams
  • Excellent communication and influence skills at all levels and across various functions
