Oracle is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their team in either Nashville, TN or Austin, TX. This role is critical in designing and implementing security architectures while ensuring compliance with corporate security policies. The position offers a competitive salary range of $109,200 to $223,400 with comprehensive benefits.
The ideal candidate will bring 6-10+ years of experience in security engineering, with strong capabilities in security architecture design, incident response, and technical leadership. You'll be responsible for advanced planning and implementation of security systems, participating in incident management, and providing technical guidance for secure architecture development.

Responsibilities For Security Engineer - Nashville, TN or Austin, TX offices
- Planning, design and build of security systems, applications, environments and architectures
- Oversees implementation of security systems and ensures compliance with security policies
- Provides technical advice for secure architecture design and development
- Participates in incident management and may act as Incident Commander
- Investigates intrusions and breaches, conducts root cause analysis
- Develops new methods, playbooks, scripts, applications, and security tools
- Evaluates technical architectures for security risks
- Develops and implements multi-year security roadmap
- Provides guidance to junior level security operations engineers
Requirements For Security Engineer - Nashville, TN or Austin, TX offices
- 6 to 10+ years of experience
- Advanced-level security architecture skills
- Knowledge of computer programming/scripting
- Experience in security threat and vulnerability management
- English language proficiency
- No security clearance required
