Job Description

Oracle Cloud (OCI) is a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in Cloud Platform Services. The Chief of Staff (Technical Program Manager) will be a core member of the VP, Instance Maintenance leadership team. Their work will enable companies and governments to move mission-critical workloads to the cloud with confidence in the security of their information, the availability of the services, and the rapid response and resolution of incidents.

This role will manage the rhythm of the business for the VP, drive key initiatives and programs across the finish line, and facilitate success through solid working relationships across Oracle Cloud. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter who can take initiative and drive accountability while building and maintaining strong relationships with team members and stakeholders in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations: Drive the rhythm of the business, including reviews, leadership meetings, and strategy sessions.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Participate in the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives, track delivery against plans, and develop KPIs and success metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Take a data and metrics-driven approach to consistent, iterative improvement.
  • Force Multiplier: Build cross-functional and cross-organization relationships to facilitate success.
  • Culture and People: Work closely with HR and the leadership team to improve team health and morale.

The successful candidate will be an excellent organizational and inclusive leader, excelling at driving results via empowering and scaling people. They will be a superb communicator, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing global stakeholders.
