Senior Principal SW Engineer (OCI MEDIA)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to join their Media Services team. This role offers the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems and provide key technical guidance in developing cloud services for animation, film, and game development studios. The team is building new cloud services focused on the digital media production industry, including virtual animation workstation service, digital asset management, high-performance storage, render farm as a service, and production pipeline management services.

As a Senior Principal Engineer, you'll help build a competitive offering from the ground up, extending OCI's reach into the media and entertainment industry. You'll work with talented software developers to design scalable, highly available cloud services in a world-class development environment. The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and software engineering fundamentals.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of software engineering experience, strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, and extensive experience with microservices and distributed systems. Domain knowledge in media production workflows, including digital asset management, 3D frameworks, and rendering workflows is a plus.
