Senior Network Reliability Engineer

The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic thinking, requiring expertise in network protocols, automation, and large-scale systems. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology, managing hundreds of thousands of network devices across dedicated backbone infrastructure, CLoS networks, and the internet.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Network Operations: Design, deploy, and manage large-scale network solutions that power Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Incident Response: Lead break-fix support for network events and perform root cause analysis
• Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to streamline network operations
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to optimize network performance
• Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of experience in network operations, preferably from an ISP or cloud provider environment. Strong knowledge of network protocols (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and automation skills (Python preferred) are essential.
