Software Developer 1

Oracle is seeking a Software Developer 1 to join their team. As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. You will build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software
• Apply knowledge of software architecture to various tasks
• Build enhancements within existing software architecture
• Suggest improvements to the architecture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Proficiency in C, Python, UNIX, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with debugging, multithreaded programming, and file systems
