As a Senior Software Engineer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will play a crucial role in developing key technical components and services. You'll be part of an engineering team focused on building cloud services that enable streaming providers to migrate their workloads to OCI. These services encompass various aspects including playback, content augmentation, video transcoding and packaging, content delivery, streaming analytics, and flexible billing & cost analytics.

This position represents a unique opportunity to build a competitive product from the ground up and expand OCI's presence in the media and entertainment industry. You'll work closely with engineering leaders to shape the path to success, using your experience to influence and drive progress. The role requires expertise in building, driving, and operating cloud services at a technical level, with additional value placed on experience in video playback, encoding technologies, content delivery using CDNs, and live streaming.

As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3 level), you'll need to demonstrate a strong track record of success and technical depth in software development. The role emphasizes both technical excellence and soft skills - particularly communication and collaboration abilities. You'll be working with distributed teams to design and implement scalable cloud services, ensuring high availability, observability, and testability.
