Software Developer 4

As a Principal Engineer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will be responsible for owning and delivering cloud services that enable key Media storage workloads. This role involves building competitive products from the ground up and extending OCI's reach into the media and entertainment industry. You'll work on services including Media Ingest, Augmentation and Analytics, Media Search and Organization, and Media workflow automation.

The position requires exceptional technical and soft skills, with a focus on building highly scalable and available cloud services. You'll be working with large-scale distributed file systems, object storage systems, and databases designed for media content and metadata. This is an Individual Contributor (IC4) role that combines technical leadership with hands-on development.

You'll be part of a team that's pushing the boundaries of cloud storage solutions for media workloads, working in collaboration with product managers and infrastructure teams to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions. The role offers the opportunity to mentor engineers, drive complex technical projects, and lead initiatives independently.
