Software Development Director

Oracle Health and AI (OHAI) is seeking a strategic Technical Director to lead critical automation and scaling initiatives within the OHAI Platform's Semantic Database team. This role presents a unique opportunity to design and build new cloud-centric applications from scratch, driving the design, delivery, and operational excellence of systems powering Oracle's Semantic Index (SI) product.

The position involves leading high-performing engineering teams and ensuring key initiatives such as SI instance creation, data bootstrapping automation, and scalable customer onboarding are executed efficiently and securely. The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

As a Director, you will provide end-to-end leadership for teams responsible for automating and scaling SI instance provisioning and data onboarding. You'll build a culture of innovation, coach and mentor engineers, and enable professional growth for team members. The role involves setting clear, measurable goals, implementing progress tracking processes, and ensuring accountability.
