Oracle's Global Government Regions team is seeking a Solutions Architect to help shape the future of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role focuses on defining next-generation cloud platforms for government and public sector customers worldwide, including defense and intelligence communities. As a principal technical adviser, you'll be the crucial link between customers and OCI Engineering, translating customer needs into innovative solutions. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while directly influencing product strategy and customer success. You'll collaborate with enterprise architects, engage with strategic customers, and drive cloud adoption initiatives. The role combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, requiring strong communication skills and deep understanding of cloud architecture. Responsibilities For Solutions Architect
- Work with strategic customers to understand their requirements, influence product roadmap, and accelerate cloud consumption
- Directly influence how global government customers use OCI
- Provide expertise and guidance throughout the deal cycle
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to understand business drivers
- Act as the voice of customers to Oracle's cloud engineering teams
- Be product evangelist - engage with customers and partners, present in events and conferences
Requirements For Solutions Architect
- Proven experience as a solution architect, cloud architect or similar role (5+ years)
- Strong understanding of cloud design principles, including security, scalability, and performance
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Understanding of public sector customers
- Strong technical competence, communication, and interpersonal skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
