Responsibilities For Engineer Intern - Systems (Year Round)

  • Prepare vehicle component layouts using CAD software (AutoCAD)
  • Select parts or components for quality conscious design
  • Follow project on the assembly floor and provide technical assistance
  • Perform or assist in testing of complete vehicles or vehicle components
  • Design, model, and test new communication systems components
  • Update bill of materials to reflect product changes
  • Set up and configure IP addresses, serial communication in mobile command centers

Requirements For Engineer Intern - Systems (Year Round)

Linux
  • Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related engineering field
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements
  • Previous internship experience or work-related experience preferred
  • Experience using AutoCAD or DraftSight is a plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and subnetting is desirable
  • Previous experience or heightened interest in communications systems design
